Talon Wireless System - EU

This ‘set of radios’ extends the connection from your controller to your Talon Head to handle, virtually any need! No more running a long cable and hoping for the best! We utilize a pair of radios to transmit and a pair to receive, so the head and controller are in continuous communication.

The system utilizes the 902-928 MHz ‘automatic’ spread spectrum range of frequencies. This keeps you off of the congested WIFI frequencies. We will also offer a licensed band system, in the 450-470 MHz range, for crowded venues where assigned frequencies are designated by a coordinator. Either way you will be connected without interference. These radio modules are programmed so that they only communicate with each other. Other nearby radios on the same, or adjacent channels, will be ignored.

The radio modules have green LED indicators for visual assurance that they are powered, receiving data and sending data. The Receive Signal Strength Indicators (RSSI) let you know the strength of the radio signal each is receiving.

Each has a 7 pin Lemo data connection and the Controller module has the threaded 2.1mm 24VDC power input jack. These are plug in play, so no settings or adjustments are required.

The range of this system varies, dependent on the terrain and impediments in your environment, but can  reach up to 1000 ft indoors general conditions. With, optional, high gain directional antennas these can reach up to 4 miles outdoors.

The system includes two radio modules, two 24” Lemo 7 pin cables, a 24VDC power supply for the console and radio. The head radio receives power from the head.

You can also use your wheels and operate the other functions of the system as if it were direct wired!
