'Legacy' Inner Pan Axle and Threaded Shaft Collar

If you previously purchased our outer pan bearing upgrade, this DIY Pan Axle Upgrade kit for your JimmyJib Legacy Head comes with everything you need to get your pan axle ‘adjusted just the way you prefer’!

This improvement adds a new pan 'inner axle' with machined threads on the end of the shaft and a threaded shaft collar, so you can adjust your preferred level of drag.

But this DIY kit is not for the 'faint at heart'. You'll need to remove your head cables in order to free up the axle for removal. This upgrade takes about 2 hours to perform with an Allen wrench set and snap ring tool. Replace your inner pan axle and shaft collar with a lighter 'threaded' anodized black aluminum one with stainless steel screw. Kit includes the two parts shown in photo. We also offer a full service version of this upgrade for +$200.
