Ultimate 1 Controller for Cammate

Cammate owner/operators have been asking for this for a long time! Introducing the ‘all new’ control/brain/system for 2022! OUT with the 1980s based analog circuitry and IN with the new modular designed digital platform with many new features and ready to add more features as needed!

The new Ultimate 1 control unit is based around two 32 bit – 8 cog microprocessors which have, tons of horsepower, to handle any task we throw at it. It’s also equipped with portable memory modules that’ll make firmware upgrades a breeze.

The Ultimate 1 supports the connectivity and features of Cammate's previous controllers via your 16 pin Y cable! Beyond that, the entire cabling and electronic infrastructure has been redesigned. No more 37 pin cabling!!

This unit no longer requires a special power supply! Any standard, appropriately rated, 12VDC video supply or battery will work! You may connect mains power directly to the provided 12VDC power supply adapter or utilize our provision for an optional V Mount or 3 Stud Mount battery bracket. There’s even a new integrated tally system. The system has two auxiliary 12 VDC receptacles to power monitors and other devices. The front panel now features a 5VDC USB charging port.

Standard 8 pin and 12 pin lenses connect as you have in the past for zoom only operation. The combination of the 8 pin zoom and 8 pin special focus connections feed signals to the various newer types of lenses through our array of adapter cables. These adapter cables are fitted with the appropriate connectors for that particular lens. Your legacy adapter cables will also work for zoom. Zoom, Focus & Iris support, for fully manual lenses, are provided through the ZFI SBUS connector.

The case has a smaller footprint as the Cammate so it will still fit in your case foams.
